In our English class,We are reading The Diary of Anne Frank.It is about a girl who goes into hiding because she is a Jew.Her family and the Van Dans are in a hiding place above an office.
When Hanukkah comes around she gives everyone a present but they didn't think anyone was going to do that. One special thing that Anne did was she gave her mom a card.It said that she owed her mom ten hours of work. So know in Mrs.Chapman's class we have to do ten hours for our parents.
